A delegation led by Mr. Vicente Solera Deuchat, Deputy Director of Development at the British Embassy in Ethiopia, visited the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute. The delegation included representatives from other institutions working in the field of artificial intelligence technology in England.
During the visit, the delegates toured the institute’s facilities and operations. Discussions were held on potential avenues for closer collaboration between the institute and the visiting organizations.
Representatives from GSM and Frontier Technology provided recommendations on leveraging artificial intelligence to deliver humanitarian aid and support other sectors within Ethiopia.
The Director General of the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute, Engineer Worku Gachena, expressed the institute’s commitment to working in partnership to drive comprehensive technological transformation across the country.
Mr. Vicente Solera, praised the institute’s work in applying technology to catalyze change across various industries in Ethiopia.
