During the visit, officials from the institute briefed the executives about the institute’s operations.
In addition, the officials from both sides discussed several areas of artificial intelligence technology where they can collaborate. It was also noted that to fully utilize the positive effects that the technology brought to Africa, large multinational corporations such as Microsoft needed to become more involved.
As a result, the officials on both sides have agreed that improving the bilateral relations is necessary in order to engage in meaningful, practical activities.
