The Director General of the Ethiopia Artificial Intelligence Institute, Engineer Worku Gachena, presented the report and led a discussion on the performance report for the first half of the fiscal year 2016, engaging the institute’s staff members.
According to the report, the institute has actively conducted research, project work, human resource development, and capacity building initiatives during the specified time frame.
In addition, the report indicates that the institute has developed valuable AI technology products with wide-ranging applications and significant national importance, which will soon be implemented.
The Director General stated that the organization’s achievements in every aspect will be a synergy for more initiatives.
